It’s the time of year when the French Riviera is awash with stars, paparazzi and the best red-carpet style seen post-awards season! Cannes is now in its 65th year and is commemorating movie icon (and all-round style inspiration) Marilyn Monroe, 50 years after her death. Diane Kruger arguably took the crown for the biggest entrance in a powder blue, windswept gown, whilst Beth Ditto and Sasha Baron Cohen made everybody smile performing together on Wednesday. We’re only slightly envious!

Sydney was host to Australian Fashion Week this year, taking place between 30th April – 4th May. The street style was definitely up to international standards, with clashing florals, brights and the odd inverted French manicure! Navajo print was big on the catwalks, as were surreal headpieces and theatrical make-up. The Aussies definitely can show us how S/S trends are done!
